    Matera Senza Tempo

“Matera Senza Tempo" ( Timeless Matera ) is part of a series of video to tell about a hidden side of Italy.

Italy is a fascinating country, known for its history and its people, its food and culture. But Italy is also a beautiful peninsula, with a Mediterranean nature that makes it very special.
“Timeless Italy” is made up of places considered jewels of the world heritage and protected accordingly. They are places where time seems to come to a standstill and where the hand of man is nonexistent. Places where the rhythms of nature are marked by the rising and setting sun and by the traveling stars. For us, these places are timeless and they endure and we are here to tell you about them.

For this stage we moved back to Basilicata to capture the eternal rocks of Matera, an ancient place that lies still in a small canyon carved out by the Gravina river. The troglodytic city and the Park of the Rupestrian Churches facing it are considered a World Heritage Site by UNESCO since 1993.

    IT

    Casentino Senza Tempo

“Casentino Senza Tempo" ( Timeless Casentino ) is part of a series of video to tell about a hidden side of Italy.

“Timeless Italy” is made up of places considered jewels of the world heritage and protected accordingly. Places where the rhythms of nature are marked by the rising and setting sun and by the traveling stars. For us, these places are timeless and they endure and we are here to tell you about them.
For this stage we moved further north, on the Apennine side between Romagna and Tuscany, to explore the National Park of Foreste Casentinesi. Casentino is a land of monasteries, Dantesque paths and enchanted forests that is very close to Bologna and Florence, but it can really offer some nice surprise to the ones who decide to go the extra mile.

Our project continues by discovering the beauty of Vulture area, in Southern Italy. Monte Vulture is a rather small and inactive volcano that last erupted about half a million years ago.
Here we discovered and filmed two beautiful volcanic crater  lakes, surrounded by thick, green vegetation, we tried to immortalize the beauty of San Fele natural waterfalls and the stars of a wonderful summer sky .
